The Two-tier orthopedic pillow made from 100% latex is a cervical support pillow moulded in one piece from natural latex foam. Its two levels form a raised neck roll on one side and a lower level on the other, helping to keep the neck and shoulders in an anatomically correct position throughout the night.

Why natural latex: Latex foam is an open-cell material with pin-hole ventilation, so air circulates through the pillow instead of building up heat and moisture. It is naturally resistant to dust mites, mould and bacteria, which is why latex pillows are often recommended for allergy sufferers. Unlike feather and down, latex springs back and holds its shape rather than flattening, and it is an environmentally friendly, non-toxic material.

Who it suits: The contoured two-level shape is designed for back and side sleepers, and the firm, supportive foam works well for heavier or large-framed users. The pillow can be used on both sides.

Care and lifespan: The dust-mite-proof stretch-jacquard cover can be removed for washing — hand or machine wash, but do not tumble dry. With normal use, a natural latex pillow has a service life of over five years.

Telling natural from synthetic latex: Sprinkle a little water on the surface. Natural latex repels water and feels slightly slippery to the touch, while synthetic latex absorbs water, feels more rigid and often has a yellowish tint.
