In Thailand, an unusual type of tea is widespread – blue tea, produced only here (you should not confuse it with Chinese blue tea from oolong leaves). It is not difficult to guess that such a name is due to the coloring obtained during brewing. This color gives the basis of tea – the leaves of the Thai orchid – clitoria, also called moth peas. Clitoria leaves have long been used in Southeast Asian countries to strengthen hair and cleanse the blood.
How to use: Pour 2-3 teaspoons of dried flowers with hot water (85-90 degrees), insist to cool the drink. Consume 2/3 cup 2 times a day. You can add lemon, honey or sugar to the infusion.
